EIMCILA - International Contact Improvisation Teachers in
Latin America- is a framework for the meeting between teachers and experienced practitioners, involved and interested in the transmission of Contact
Improvisation.
The aim is to exchange knowledge and experiences in relation
to the teaching of CI as well as its study, practice, reflection and research.
The first edition of EIMCILA was held in Buenos Aires
featured 45 participants from 8 countries. The second edition, held in Buenos
Aires also featured 35 participants from 9 countries. Both highly rewarding and
nourishing experiences encourage us once again to call this third meeting
towards the exchange between colleagues in the region and the world.
On the base of exchanging we believe there exists the
possibility of learning and relearning as we share our desire to communicate.
The organizing hub will keep rotating throughout different
places of Latin America in order to facilitate the participation of teachers
all across the area.
